A relaxing tubing trip down the Edisto River with Edisto River Adventures will provide an opportunity to experience one of South Carolina’s most treasured natural resources from the water.
Known as one of the longest free-flowing blackwater rivers in North America, the Edisto winds through towering cypress forests, sandbars, and diverse wildlife habitats that showcase the beauty and ecological importance of South Carolina’s river systems.
Floating along the gentle current offers a unique perspective on the river’s rich biodiversity and the importance of protecting waterways that support recreation, wildlife, and water quality across the state. At the conclusion of the float, participants can enjoy food from a local food truck before being shuttled back to Givhans Ferry State Park.
