DESCRIPTION:Join us for a 2.25-mile educational walk that explores the natural beauty and environmental initiatives surrounding Swan Lake and the Shot Pouch Greenway. This event highlights ongoing collaborative efforts between the City of Sumter and local colleges to protect and enhance the area’s natural resources. Along the route, participants will stop at six engaging stations, each offering insight into conservation and ecological projects in progress. This walk is a fantastic opportunity to enjoy the outdoors while gaining insight into local conservation efforts, student-led research, and the community’s environmental stewardship.
