DESCRIPTION:A three-mile hike through the Camden area will provide an opportunity to explore the landscapes that played a critical role in the Southern Campaign of the American Revolution before concluding at the Revolutionary War Visitor Center at Camden.  As one of South Carolina’s most historically significant Revolutionary War sites, Camden was the location of major military campaigns and the site of the Battle of Camden in 1780, one of the war’s pivotal engagements in the South.
